STUDENT ACTIVITIES POSITION
WANTED: PART-TIME ASSISTANT
This is an excellent position for a student seeking to work in an environment that will
allow for professional and spiritual growth. Primary responsibilities include: monitoring
student behavior on and off campus on a daily basis, and during school sponsored events,
supervising study halls, supporting middle-age and high school students , serving as a role positive model by exhibiting high personal
standards through appropriate behavior and attitudes, helping and supporting students in a
non-threatening way,
helping to supervise students , assisting with
answering the Front Lobby desk phone and receiving messages, transferring phone calls,
patrolling the grounds and monitoring the movement of students that have signed out of
their various dorms to ensure a safe and secure environment on campus. This position will
start in early August, and will be 20 hours a week. Beginning pay rate is $7.25/hour.
Hourly employees will not be required to work during holiday breaks, which are similar
to Thanksgiving, Christmas and spring break. Shift may include an on-campus meal.

Math Tutors (Several Positions)
Several individuals with excellent math skills are needed to tutor junior high
and high school students for up to 10 hours per week, typically in the evening.
This is an excellent position for teacher retirees or students. Pay is $18.00,
evenings are Monday through Thursday. Required: 3.5 gpa in at least 12 hours of
Math. If current student, prefer is given to math or science majors.

PT - Barn Staff/Livestock Project Leader
Part-time position for individual with agricultural/ranch or farming background.
Applicant should be familiar with operation of livestock/equine farm management
and equipment, have good work ethic and ability to work independently and safely
and enjoys working with youth. Must have experience with livestock (goat, swine,
beef and horses), have prior 4-H/FFA animal care and show experience.
Responsibilities include frequent morning/evening and weekend feedings and
turn-outs, barn organization, cleaning stalls and water troughs, feeding/watering,
grooming, cutting grass, repairing fence, and other basic ranch repairs, and
provide structured learning experiences, personal growth as well as counseling
in livestock projects for the 4-H members.
The right candidate for the position must be hard working, self motivated, organized,
a multi-tasker, be able to handle pressure in an environment that can be fast past
and chaotic at times. It is required that you are trustworthy and responsible to
organize and keep the facility running when the Program Director is away from the
farm for other business.
Must be available Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.
Must be able to travel occasionally to livestock shows.
Pay begins at $8.00 hour, contingent upon experience.
