45 Cadets Gain Skills at Leadership Camp
Forty-five cadets returned to campus March 21 after successfully completing their
five-day Leadership Camp in San Antonio. Led by six senior assistant trainers and

evaluators, the cadets gained new skills and increased their confidence as they
prepared for leadership roles in next year’s Bear Battalion. Selected as the camp’s
outstanding cadet was junior Jeb Yearwood. Sophomore Daniel Sexton received the
"Hooah Award" for being the most motivated cadet, and junior Zoe Ruiz
picked up the Personal Courage Award, for overcoming obstacles and challenges.
